I am a filmmaker born and raised in Brussels.
I use film as a way of exploring personal family stories rooted in the complexity of my origins: Congolese and Portuguese on my mother’s side, Chinese and Belgian on my father’s side. I consider each of my films a piece of a puzzle belonging to a growing collection of family archives.
Text plays a central role in my work, where I strive to transform personal materials into minimalist and accessible forms, inviting the viewer to fully immerse themselves in the experience.
In 2025 I graduated with high honours from LUCA School of Arts with the film Maman, that won the Award for Best Belgian Student Short Film Fest Gent 2025
